Speakers Profiles 

mzMina Zheng is a master feng shui practitioner, based in Sydney. She was born into a traditional Chinese family in Southern China.

Her feng shui knowledge was taught by her grandfather, a well known I Ching Master, then her father, a Tai Chi master and author in Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese Metaphysics. This background has given her a deep knowledge of this ancient Chinese art.

In the past two decades, she has travelled to Hong Kong and Malaysia to study feng shui. In 2007-2008 she returned to China and studied with grand master Shao Wei Hua in Guang Zhou, using traditional Chinese feng shui texts. Following these studies, grand master Shao Wei Hua (易坛泰斗 邵 伟 华)awarded her the title of feng shui and I Ching master.

Her recent commercial clients include Credit Swiss and the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney.

She hosted a TV program on Chinese Astrology for the 'Voice of China' in Tokyo Japan for three months in 2008. She appeared in the 2009 SBS series 'Costas Garden Odyssey'. She is regularly on radio, 2GB in Sydney and Gaga. in Melbourne.

howardHoward Choy during 1978 - 1980 studied Feng Shui under the personal tutelage of Master Ren Zhilin in Hong Hong after graduating with a B.Arch. degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney and whilst working in Hong Kong as a project architect for Stephenson and Turner.

 

Howard has also studied under various Feng Shui experts in China that include Professor Wang Yude of Huazhong Normal University in Wuhan and Professor Cheng Jianguin of Huanam University of Technology in Guangzhou.

Howard has written 2 companion volumes on Feng Shui and QiGong titled - 'Feng Shui: Creating Health, Wealth and Harmony' and Qi Gong: Feng Shui for the Body which was co-written by Belinda Henwood and both published through Pan MacMillan.

In 1977 he co-authored a book again with Belinda Henwood called Feng Shui - How to create Harmony and Balance in Your Living and Working Environment published by Lansdowne Press in 1997.

Howard currently teaches Feng Shui, Tai Chi and Qigong in Australia and Europe, including Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Poland, Italy, France and Switzerland. Howard was invited to talk at the International Feng Shui Conference in London in 1999 and was piviotal in the setting up of the International Feng Shui Association in Singapore in 1998.

Howard has carried out many Feng Shui consultations in both public, commercial and residential works - some of his major clients include:

2000 - The Urban Upgrading of Sydney's Chinatown in Sydney for the Olympic Games in 2000 - Howard won the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects National Project Awards 2000 for this project

2001 - 2005 Murdoch Magazines, Lend Lease, Citibank and Speedo Australia

2006-2007 - The Sydney Chinese Garden of Friendship

2008 - present - Sydney Casino

With increasing demand for his teaching and consulations outside of Australia, Howard is now operating from his base in Berlin where he has set up arqitektur.ac with his german partners Gyda Anders and Tilman Weiland who are all practising Feng Shui architects, consultants and teachers.
